Times of India · world

India has strongly criticized Pakistan at the United Nations, questioning Islamabad's treatment of its minorities and its ability to protect religious freedom. India's First Secretary to the UN, Bhavika Mangalanandan, stated that a country failing to safeguard its own vulnerable communities has no right to lecture India. She highlighted concerns over alleged forced conversions, abductions, and marriages of minority girls in Pakistan. Mangalanandan also questioned Pakistan's focus on the funeral rights of terrorists, contrasting it with their refusal to accept bodies of soldiers killed in the 1999 Kargil conflict.
