Kia Motors has surpassed Maruti Suzuki in electric vehicle sales for September, selling 1,263 units compared to Maruti's 1,103. This shift is largely attributed to the successful launch of Kia's affordable Syros EV, which offers a starting price of ₹13.50 lakh. Kia's electric vehicle market share has now reached 3.5%, while Maruti Suzuki's has dropped to 3.06%. This sales surge has propelled Kia into the top 5 EV manufacturers, pushing Maruti Suzuki out of the top ranks.
