Jan Suraaj Seeks Bihar MLCs' Membership Cancellation Over BJP Support

Jan Suraaj-backed candidates Afaq Ahmed and Vimohaan Kumar have petitioned the Bihar legislative council chairman to cancel the membership of two Independent MLCs, Banshidhar Brijwasi and Rahul Raj. The petition alleges the MLCs betrayed voters by supporting the BJP after being elected independently. Supporting evidence, including videos and photographs, has been submitted to the chairman, who assured appropriate action. Separately, Prashant Kishor reiterated a promise to ensure Bihar teachers receive seventh pay scale benefits before the next Lok Sabha elections.

जन सुराज समर्थित उम्मीदवारों अफ़ाक अहमद और विमोहन कुमार ने बिहार विधान परिषद के सभापति से दो निर्दलीय एमएलसी, बंशीधर बृजवासी और राहुल राज की सदस्यता रद्द करने की याचिका दायर की है। याचिका में आरोप लगाया गया है कि एमएलसी ने निर्दलीय चुने जाने के बाद भाजपा का समर्थन करके मतदाताओं के साथ विश्वासघात किया है। सभापति को वीडियो और तस्वीरों सहित सहायक सबूत सौंपे गए हैं, जिन्होंने उचित कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया है। अलग से, प्रशांत किशोर ने अगले लोकसभा चुनावों से पहले बिहार के शिक्षकों को सातवें वेतनमान का लाभ सुनिश्चित करने का वादा दोहराया है।
