Sweet shops in Uttar Pradesh will have the flexibility to set their own 'Use By' dates for products, according to the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA). This clarification comes ahead of the October 15 mandate for displaying these dates. Sellers must determine the shelf life based on ingredients, manufacturing, and storage conditions. Once a date is declared, the shop is responsible for ensuring the sweet's quality and safety until that date. This approach aligns with FSSAI guidance, acknowledging the varied nature of different sweets.

के अनुसार, उत्तर प्रदेश की मिठाई की दुकानें अपने उत्पादों के लिए 'यूज़ बाय' तारीखें खुद तय कर सकेंगी। यह स्पष्टीकरण 15 अक्टूबर के इन तारीखों को प्रदर्शित करने के अनिवार्य नियम से पहले आया है। विक्रेताओं को सामग्री, निर्माण और भंडारण की स्थिति के आधार पर शेल्फ लाइफ निर्धारित करनी होगी। एक बार तारीख घोषित हो जाने के बाद, दुकान उस तारीख तक मिठाई की गुणवत्ता और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जिम्मेदार होगी। यह तरीका FSSAI के दिशानिर्देशों के अनुरूप है, जो विभिन्न मिठाइयों की विविध प्रकृति को स्वीकार करता है।
