Salman Khan House Firing Accused Denied Bail, Allowed Virtual Wedding Attendance

A special court has denied temporary bail to Vickykumar Gupta, an alleged shooter arrested in the 2024 firing outside actor Salman Khan's residence. Gupta had sought release to attend his brother's wedding in Bihar on December 1 and 2, 2026. While denying his physical presence, the court directed jail authorities to arrange for Gupta to join the ceremony via video conferencing, subject to security and technical feasibility. Gupta and co-accused Sagar Pal carried out the firing on April 14, 2024.

एक विशेष अदालत ने अभिनेता सलमान खान के आवास के बाहर 2024 में हुई फायरिंग के मामले में गिरफ्तार कथित शूटर विकीकुमार गुप्ता को अस्थायी जमानत देने से इनकार कर दिया है। गुप्ता ने 1 और 2 दिसंबर, 2026 को बिहार में अपने भाई की शादी में शामिल होने के लिए रिहाई मांगी थी। उनकी शारीरिक उपस्थिति से इनकार करते हुए, अदालत ने जेल अधिकारियों को सुरक्षा और तकनीकी व्यवहार्यता के अधीन, गुप्ता को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से समारोह में शामिल होने की व्यवस्था करने का निर्देश दिया। गुप्ता और सह-आरोपी सागर पाल ने 14 अप्रैल, 2024 को फायरिंग की थी।
