A multi-crore rupee cruise ship has been stuck in the sand on the banks of the Ganga river in Bhagalpur for approximately 15 days. Efforts to free the vessel using dredging and cranes have been unsuccessful due to the receding water levels and accumulated silt. Authorities are now planning to bring special balloons from Kolkata to help lift the ship.
