Actress Ishita Dutta has supported Deepika Padukone's call for an eight-hour workday, deeming it a reasonable request. She stated that while production houses can choose not to accommodate such demands, they should not belittle actors for making them. Dutta highlighted that actors have varying personal circumstances, and not everyone can work 12-15 hour days. She emphasized that the decision to grant shorter shifts lies with production houses, but the request itself should not be labelled unreasonable or met with criticism.
