प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने दिल्ली-अमृतसर-कटरा एक्सप्रेसवे के एक अहम हिस्से का उद्घाटन किया है। यह 667 किलोमीटर लंबा प्रोजेक्ट करीब 38,905 करोड़ रुपये का है। इससे दिल्ली से कटरा तक का सफर काफी कम हो जाएगा। यह चार राज्यों को जोड़ेगा और इससे आर्थिक गतिविधियों व धार्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा, क्योंकि लाखों लोगों की यात्रा आसान और तेज होगी।
