India's Ambassador to the UAE, Deepak Mittal, met with injured Flydubai pilot Smit Machchhar in a hospital on Thursday. Machchhar is recovering well after being stabbed by his co-pilot, who allegedly attempted to crash the plane. The Indian Embassy is coordinating with local authorities for his continued care. Machchhar was initially treated in Saudi Arabia before being airlifted to Abu Dhabi. The incident occurred on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, which was diverted to Saudi Arabia.
