Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak emphasized the state government's development initiatives in the Purvanchal region while also highlighting the importance of preserving its cultural identity. Speaking at the ninth Maati Purvanchal Festival in Lucknow, Pathak praised the Maati organization for its work in promoting the region's art, literature, folk traditions, and cuisine. The festival, jointly organized by the Maati organization and the Union Ministry of Culture, brought together various cultural enthusiasts and concluded with discussions on Purvanchal's future and folk performances.
