Kumaraswamy Alleges NICE Corridor Project Scam

Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has alleged that modifications to the Bengaluru-Mysuru Infrastructure Corridor Project's outline development plan in 2004 were illegal. He stated that these changes deviated from the original framework agreement approved in 1997 and were made without Cabinet approval. Kumaraswamy highlighted that the modifications increased the land allocated for the road project and affected 15 lakes, contrary to the initial agreement and court orders. He questioned the transparency and audit processes of the project authority.

केंद्रीय मंत्री एच.डी. कुमारस्वामी ने आरोप लगाया है कि 2004 में बेंगलुरु-मैसूरु इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कॉरिडोर प्रोजेक्ट की आउटलाइन डेवलपमेंट प्लान में किए गए बदलाव अवैध थे। उन्होंने कहा कि ये बदलाव 1997 में मंजूर हुए मूल फ्रेमवर्क समझौते से हटकर किए गए थे और कैबिनेट की मंजूरी के बिना हुए थे। कुमारस्वामी ने बताया कि इन बदलावों से सड़क परियोजना के लिए आवंटित जमीन बढ़ गई और 15 झीलें प्रभावित हुईं, जो शुरुआती समझौते और अदालती आदेशों के विपरीत था। उन्होंने प्रोजेक्ट अथॉरिटी की पारदर्शिता और ऑडिट प्रक्रियाओं पर सवाल उठाए।
