The Rajasthan government plans to enhance the quality of its polytechnic colleges to match the state's industrial investment potential. Chief Secretary V Srinivas chaired a 'Samvad' program in Jaipur, bringing together principals from ten government polytechnic institutions to discuss improvements. The focus is on strengthening industry-academia interfaces, modernizing labs, and updating curricula to meet evolving industrial requirements. Directives were issued to ensure better placement opportunities and higher salaries for students, recognizing the crucial role of skilled technical personnel in the state's manufacturing growth.
