Pakistan Terror Acts Will Face Stronger Indian Response: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that any further terrorist acts originating from Pakistan will be met with a stronger response. He emphasized that India's commitment to peace should not be mistaken for weakness, citing surgical strikes and Balakot airstrikes as examples of a shift towards proactive action. Singh noted that since 2014, the average 'shelf life' of terrorists has decreased to less than a year due to security forces' effectiveness.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान से होने वाले किसी भी और आतंकी हमले का जवाब और कड़ा होगा। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि शांति के प्रति भारत की प्रतिबद्धता को कमजोरी न समझा जाए, और उन्होंने सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक और बालाकोट हवाई हमलों का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि अब सक्रिय कार्रवाई की ओर बढ़ा जा रहा है। सिंह ने कहा कि 2014 से, सुरक्षा बलों की प्रभावशीलता के कारण आतंकवादियों का औसत 'शेल्फ लाइफ' एक साल से भी कम हो गया है।
