India has banned the import of goods produced using forced labour, effective 30 days after gazette publication. This move aligns with a US investigation into forced labour practices in 60 countries, including India. The prohibition aims to prevent the entry of products tainted by human rights abuses.

भारत ने जबरन मजदूरी से बने सामानों के आयात पर रोक लगा दी है। यह नियम गजट में छपने के 30 दिन बाद से लागू होगा। अमेरिका भी 60 देशों में जबरन मजदूरी की जांच कर रहा है, जिसमें भारत भी शामिल है। इस बैन का मकसद मानवाधिकारों के उल्लंघन से बने उत्पादों को देश में आने से रोकना है।
