Bharti Enterprises Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal has been awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre national de la Légion d’Honneur, France's highest civilian award, by President Emmanuel Macron. The distinction recognizes Mittal's significant contributions to strengthening economic ties between India and France and his achievements in telecommunications and digital infrastructure. Mittal expressed gratitude, highlighting his long association with France since Airtel's inception in 1992 and his current role with Eutelsat. The award ceremony will take place at the French embassy in New Delhi.

भारती एंटरप्राइजेज के चेयरमैन सुनील भारती मित्तल को राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों ने फ्रांस के सर्वोच्च नागरिक पुरस्कार, शेवेलियर डी ल'ऑर्ड्रे नेशनल डी ला लीजन डी'होनूर से सम्मानित किया है। यह सम्मान भारत और फ्रांस के बीच आर्थिक संबंधों को मजबूत करने में मित्तल के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान और दूरसंचार व डिजिटल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में उनकी उपलब्धियों को मान्यता देता है। मित्तल ने आभार व्यक्त करते हुए एयरटेल की 1992 में शुरुआत से फ्रांस के साथ अपने लंबे जुड़ाव और Eutelsat के साथ अपनी वर्तमान भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। यह पुरस्कार समारोह नई दिल्ली में फ्रांसीसी दूतावास में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
