Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has strongly criticised the current squad, calling them "babies" and "selfish" following a significant Champions League defeat. Rooney expressed shock and disbelief at the team's performance and the subsequent public criticism of manager Michael Carrick by captain Bruno Fernandes. He believes the players lack responsibility, focusing only on themselves rather than their teammates, manager, or fans. This criticism comes amid a difficult season for the club, marked by infighting and a poor league start.
