Makarba Flyover Junction Gets Traffic Signal After Congestion Issues

The Makarba railway overbridge in Ahmedabad, opened just two weeks ago, is already facing traffic congestion at its junction with Corporate Road. To address the bottleneck caused by the flyover ramp descending onto a busy intersection, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is now installing a traffic signal. This measure aims to regulate vehicle movement and alleviate the growing traffic jams. Civic sources stated that installing a signal is the only urgent solution, citing similar successful arrangements at other flyover junctions across the city.

अहमदाबाद का मकरबा रेलवे ओवरब्रिज, जिसे खुले हुए बस दो हफ़्ते हुए हैं, पहले से ही कॉर्पोरेट रोड के जंक्शन पर ट्रैफिक जाम से जूझ रहा है। फ्लाईओवर रैंप के व्यस्त चौराहे पर उतरने से पैदा हुई अड़चन को दूर करने के लिए, अहमदाबाद म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (AMC) अब ट्रैफिक सिग्नल लगा रहा है। इस कदम का मकसद वाहनों की आवाजाही को नियंत्रित करना और बढ़ते ट्रैफिक जाम को कम करना है। नागरिक सूत्रों ने बताया कि सिग्नल लगाना ही एकमात्र ज़रूरी समाधान है, और शहर के अन्य फ्लाईओवर जंक्शनों पर भी इसी तरह के सफल इंतजामों का हवाला दिया।
