Lawyers Protest EVMs Outside Delhi Supreme Court, Demand Transparency

Lawyers protesting against Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) outside the Supreme Court in Delhi have raised demands for transparency in the election process. Amidst protests by the CJP, questions have arisen regarding the detention of demonstrators and restrictions on metro and railway services. Lawyer Narendra Mishra filed a contempt petition on behalf of petitioner Priya Mishra, alleging non-compliance with court directives to not disrupt public movement. The petition seeks permission for peaceful protests and restoration of public amenities.

दिल्ली में सुप्रीम कोर्ट के बाहर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीनों (EVMs) के खिलाफ विरोध कर रहे वकीलों ने चुनाव प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता की मांग उठाई है। CJP द्वारा विरोध प्रदर्शन के बीच, प्रदर्शनकारियों की हिरासत और मेट्रो और रेलवे सेवाओं पर प्रतिबंध को लेकर सवाल उठे हैं। वकील नरेंद्र मिश्रा ने याचिकाकर्ता प्रिया मिश्रा की ओर से एक अवमानना याचिका दायर की है, जिसमें सार्वजनिक आवाजाही को बाधित न करने के अदालत के निर्देशों का पालन न करने का आरोप लगाया गया है। याचिका में शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति और सार्वजनिक सुविधाओं की बहाली की मांग की गई है।
