सीबीआई ने ग्रेटर नोएडा में PNB से जुड़े 10.24 करोड़ रुपये के घोटाले के सिलसिले में एक महिला बैंक कर्मचारी समेत दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी, जिनकी पहचान ऑफिस असिस्टेंट दीपांशी और निजी व्यक्ति आशुतोष कुमार पाठक के रूप में हुई है, पर कथित तौर पर ग्राहक खातों से अनधिकृत निकासी की सुविधा देने और अन्य खातों में धनराशि हस्तांतरित करने का आरोप है। यह मामला बैंक द्वारा दर्ज कराई गई शिकायत से उत्पन्न हुआ, जिसके बाद सीबीआई ने एफआईआर दर्ज की। इस्तेमाल किए गए तरीकों और संलिप्तता की पूरी सीमा का पता लगाने के लिए जांच जारी है।
