A Dhanbad court has sentenced Shahid Alam, Shahadat Hussain, and Tanveer Alam to life imprisonment for a 2004 AK-47 attack on gangster Fahim Khan's house in Wasseypur. The attack resulted in the death of Fahim's bodyguard, Vinod Sharma, and injured another man. The three were convicted of murder, criminal conspiracy, attempt to murder, and Arms Act violations. Sentences for murder and conspiracy are life imprisonment, with additional terms for other charges to run concurrently.
