RIL's Q2 Earnings Beat Lifts Outlook, Brokerages Adjust Price Targets

Business Standard · stocks

Reliance Industries' strong Q2 performance, driven by its oil-to-chemicals business, has led brokerages to raise earnings estimates. Despite a 32% jump in profit after tax to ₹29,250 crore and a 27.8% rise in gross revenue to ₹3.62 trillion, some brokerages trimmed price targets due to concerns over the Retail business and market volatility. Jefferies and Dolat Capital increased their FY27 earnings outlook, citing improved O2C profitability and industry-leading capabilities. Emkay Global and Nomura also adjusted their forecasts, balancing O2C strength with Retail business challenges.
