SRFTI Students Union Writes to VC on Police Presence and Intimidation

The administration stated police deployment is for safety due to alleged vandalism and physical abuse, and that students are still occupying campus despite orders to vacate.

एसआरएफटीआइ छात्र संघ ने वीसी संतोष अजमेरा को पत्र लिखकर कैम्पस में पुलिस की मौजूदगी और डराने-धमकाने की निंदा की है। उन्होंने 48 घंटे के भीतर आंतरिक पुलिसकर्मियों को हटाने और शांतिपूर्ण सभा के खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई न करने का आश्वासन मांगा है। छात्र संघ ने निगरानी की भी निंदा की, जिसमें गुप्त रिकॉर्डिंग और पुलिस द्वारा छात्रों की तस्वीरें लेने की घटनाओं का जिक्र किया गया। प्रशासन ने कहा कि कथित तोड़फोड़ और शारीरिक शोषण के कारण सुरक्षा के लिए पुलिस की तैनाती की गई है, और छात्रों को खाली करने के आदेश के बावजूद वे अभी भी कैम्पस में कब्जा किए हुए हैं।
