A UK charity book club, launched in 2018, has successfully raised £2 million for families affected by disasters and conflict. Over eight years, the ShelterBox Book Club has engaged more than 10,000 readers and distributed 160,169 books. This initiative demonstrates how a shared passion for reading can be transformed into vital humanitarian aid. The funds raised will support ShelterBox's efforts in providing emergency shelter and essential supplies to those who have lost their homes, potentially funding thousands of kitchen sets or shelter toolkits.
