The accused specifically recruited Telugu-speaking women from Telangana to work as telecallers. Their role was to gain the trust of potential victims, facilitating the fraudulent activities.

तेलंगाना में पुलिस ने एक बड़े कॉल सेंटर धोखाधड़ी का भंडाफोड़ किया है। इस मामले में 22 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है और 23 मोबाइल फोन जब्त किए गए हैं। आरोप है कि ये लोग खास तौर पर तेलंगाना की तेलुगू बोलने वाली महिलाओं को टेलीकॉलर के तौर पर नौकरी पर रखते थे। उनका काम पीड़ितों का भरोसा जीतना और फिर धोखाधड़ी करना था।
