The annual Dharwad Dasara Jamboo Savari procession will be held in Dharwad on Tuesday, marking its 21st year. The event will commence with ceremonial worship at the Bandemma Temple, followed by a procession led by elephant Rupavathi carrying the ceremonial howdah. The route will cover approximately four kilometers through major city roads, concluding at Kadapa Maidan after an estimated three-hour duration. Various cultural competitions and activities for women and children are also planned as part of the Navaratri celebrations.

धारवाड़ दशहरा जंबो सवारी 21वें साल में हाथी जुलूस के साथ लौटी

हर साल होने वाली धारवाड़ दशहरा जंबो सवारी इस मंगलवार को धारवाड़ में आयोजित की जाएगी, जो इसका 21वां साल है। इस कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत बंडम्मा मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना के साथ होगी, जिसके बाद हाथी रूपावती के नेतृत्व में जुलूस निकलेगा, जो सजी हुई हौदा ले जाएगी। यह जुलूस शहर की मुख्य सड़कों से लगभग चार किलोमीटर की दूरी तय करेगा और करीब तीन घंटे बाद कड़ापा मैदान में समाप्त होगा। नवरात्रि उत्सव के हिस्से के रूप में महिलाओं और बच्चों के लिए विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक प्रतियोगिताएं और गतिविधियां भी आयोजित की जाएंगी।
