Leicestershire Cricket Club has been penalized 27 points and fined GBP 5,000 for breaching pitch regulations during their victory over Glamorgan. The Cricket Discipline Panel upheld the charge, rating the pitch as 'poor' with 43 instances of uneven bounce. Groundsman Callum Lewin cited unscheduled Bollywood filming four days prior, which prevented the pitch from being covered. The club stated the deduction includes 19 points from the match and an eight-point deduction suspended until 2027.
