India Two-Wheeler Sales, Exports Surpass 1.52 Crore Units In H1 FY2027

India's combined domestic two-wheeler sales and exports exceeded 1.52 crore units in the first half of FY2027, marking a significant 20.35% year-on-year growth. Domestic sales rose by 17.63% to 1.20 crore units, while exports surged by 31.86% to 32 lakh units. Motorcycles formed the largest segment with 96.93 lakh units sold domestically, though scooters experienced faster growth at 29.82%. Hero Splendor and Honda Activa led domestic sales, together accounting for nearly 30% of the market. Electric scooters also showed strong performance, with several models more than doubling their sales figures.
