Abhishek Sharma smashed a stunning 108 off 34 balls against Afghanistan in Delhi, setting a new record for the fastest T20I century by an Indian in just 30 balls. This surpassed Rohit Sharma's previous record of a 35-ball century. Sharma also became the fastest batter from a Full Member nation to reach a T20I hundred. He further set a record for most runs in the first six overs with 76 runs off 22 balls.

दिल्ली में अभिषेक शर्मा ने अफगानिस्तान के खिलाफ 34 गेंदों में 108 रनों की तूफानी पारी खेली। उन्होंने सिर्फ 30 गेंदों में अपना शतक पूरा कर भारतीय का सबसे तेज T20I शतक का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा। यह रोहित शर्मा के 35 गेंदों वाले शतक से बेहतर है। शर्मा किसी भी Full Member देश के लिए सबसे तेज T20I शतक लगाने वाले बल्लेबाज भी बने। उन्होंने पहले छह ओवरों में 22 गेंदों पर 76 रन बनाकर सर्वाधिक रन बनाने का रिकॉर्ड भी अपने नाम किया।
