Solar Industries to buy Omnia for ₹12,951 crore

Solar Industries India announced its acquisition of South Africa-based Omnia Holdings for approximately ₹12,951 crore in an all-cash deal. This move aims to strengthen the Indian explosives maker's global position in mining and blasting solutions. Omnia operates across 23 countries and reported FY26 revenue of approximately ₹13,307 crore. The transaction is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals and is expected to conclude in FY28.

सोलर इंडस्ट्रीज इंडिया ने दक्षिण अफ्रीका की ओमनिया होल्डिंग्स को करीब ₹12,951 करोड़ में खरीदने का ऐलान किया है। यह डील पूरी तरह कैश में होगी। इस कदम से भारतीय एक्सप्लोसिव कंपनी की माइनिंग और ब्लास्टिंग सॉल्यूशंस में ग्लोबल पकड़ मजबूत होगी। ओमनिया 23 देशों में काम करती है और उसका FY26 रेवेन्यू करीब ₹13,307 करोड़ था। यह डील शेयरधारकों और रेगुलेटरी मंजूरी के बाद FY28 तक पूरी होने की उम्मीद है।
