Diomande Scores Winner For Real Madrid; Vinicius Sees Red Card

Sportstar · sports

Yan Diomande scored his first goal for Real Madrid in their 1-0 La Liga victory over Villarreal. The win keeps Madrid six points behind league leaders Barcelona. However, the match was marred by Vinicius Junior's red card after a VAR review showed him pulling an opponent's hair. Despite the victory, the winger's dismissal risks a potential ban, possibly keeping him out of the upcoming Clasico match on October 25. Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni expressed confusion over the referee's decision.
