Seven individuals, including six police team members, have been arrested in Nalanda for the murder of prohibition constable Ajeet Kumar. Investigators allege evidence was concealed and a false story of an attack by liquor smugglers was fabricated. The constable was killed by a stray bullet from a colleague's rifle during a chase. The team initially claimed smugglers fired on them, but separate questioning revealed contradictions. The rifle used in the crime has been seized, and an attempt to destroy evidence was also discovered.
