Syria Arrests Five Ex-Officers Over Civilian Strikes

Syrian security forces have arrested five former air force officers, including a general, accused of involvement in air strikes on civilians during Bashar al-Assad's rule. The arrests were made in coordination with the Counter Terrorism Directorate. These officers allegedly used air force assets to target populated areas, causing destruction and casualties. Investigations are ongoing before they are referred for trial.
