Musk stated that Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government, and any usage limits are decided by the US military and the President. Ukrainian officials reported disruptions to military-grade terminals moving at high speeds, complicating drone control and mission execution. Poland, which funds Ukraine's Starlink subscriptions, has also publicly challenged Musk over the issue, adding to concerns about scaled-back Western military support for Kyiv.
