Fake Currency Gang Busted in Maharashtra, 93 Lakhs in Counterfeit Notes Seized

Maharashtra Police have busted a large fake Indian currency (FICN) racket in Ahilyanagar district, seizing counterfeit notes worth ₹93 lakh. Three suspects were arrested with bundles of fake ₹500 notes. The gang allegedly tricked people by taking their real money and offering fake notes in return, promising wealth through superstitious rituals. They revealed these fake notes were purchased for just ₹25,000 from Malegaon. Police are now investigating the extent of the network and searching for two absconding accomplices.

महाराष्ट्र पुलिस ने अहिल्यानगर जिले में एक बड़े नकली भारतीय करेंसी (FICN) रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ किया है, जिसमें ₹93 लाख के नकली नोट जब्त किए गए हैं। तीन संदिग्धों को ₹500 के नकली नोटों के बंडलों के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया है। गिरोह कथित तौर पर लोगों को उनके असली पैसे लेकर बदले में नकली नोट देकर ठगता था, और अंधविश्वासी अनुष्ठानों के माध्यम से धन का वादा करता था। उन्होंने खुलासा किया कि ये नकली नोट उन्होंने मालेगांव से सिर्फ ₹25,000 में खरीदे थे। पुलिस अब नेटवर्क की सीमा की जांच कर रही है और दो फरार साथियों की तलाश कर रही है।
