Hundreds of Diploma in Education (DEd) candidates and their families staged a protest at Chhattisgarh Education Minister Gajendra Yadav's residence in Raipur, demanding immediate appointment letters for 2,300 assistant teacher positions. The demonstrators, who have been protesting for 321 days, entered the minister's official residence to press for a recruitment timeline. The protest follows Supreme Court and High Court orders that cancelled appointments of BEd candidates, creating vacancies for DEd candidates. Despite judicial directives and previous agitations, the state government has not yet completed the hiring process.

रायपुर में छत्तीसगढ़ के शिक्षा मंत्री गजेन्द्र यादव के आवास पर डिप्लोमा इन एजुकेशन (डी.एड.) के सैकड़ों उम्मीदवारों और उनके परिवारों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। वे 2,300 सहायक शिक्षक पदों के लिए तत्काल नियुक्ति पत्र की मांग कर रहे थे। प्रदर्शनकारी, जो 321 दिनों से विरोध कर रहे हैं, भर्ती की समय-सीमा तय कराने के लिए मंत्री के आधिकारिक आवास में घुस गए। यह विरोध सुप्रीम कोर्ट और हाई कोर्ट के उन आदेशों के बाद हुआ है जिन्होंने बी.एड. उम्मीदवारों की नियुक्तियों को रद्द कर दिया था, जिससे डी.एड. उम्मीदवारों के लिए रिक्तियां पैदा हुई हैं। न्यायिक निर्देशों और पिछले आंदोलनों के बावजूद, राज्य सरकार ने अभी तक भर्ती प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं की है।
