US Tells UN We Hunted Down Osama bin

The United States informed the UN Security Council that it hunted down Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. This statement came as the UNSC adopted its first presidential statement on counter-terrorism in five years, marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. US Ambassador Mike Waltz highlighted the joint efforts against terrorism, mentioning the destruction of ISIS's caliphate and the killing of other militant leaders.
