Chhattisgarh is bracing for heavy to extremely heavy rainfall on October 28 and 29 due to Cyclone Arnab's impact. In response, all educational institutions in Raipur district will remain closed on Thursday for student safety. The India Meteorological Department has warned of rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds across the state. Farmers have been advised to harvest mature crops and take precautions against waterlogging and wind damage. The weather system is expected to persist until November 1.

चक्रवात अर्नाब के प्रभाव के कारण छत्तीसगढ़ में 28 और 29 अक्टूबर को भारी से अत्यंत भारी बारिश की आशंका है। छात्रों की सुरक्षा के लिए रायपुर जिले के सभी शैक्षणिक संस्थान गुरुवार को बंद रहेंगे। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने राज्य भर में बारिश, गरज और तेज हवाओं की चेतावनी जारी की है। किसानों को पकी हुई फसल काटने और जलभराव व हवा से होने वाले नुकसान से बचाव के उपाय करने की सलाह दी गई है। मौसम प्रणाली 1 नवंबर तक बने रहने की उम्मीद है।
