Truck Smuggling UP Paddy Into Punjab Intercepted; FIR Lodged

Officials in Patiala, Punjab, intercepted a truck carrying undocumented paddy from Uttar Pradesh at the Dudhan Sadhan interstate barrier. An FIR has been registered, and the vehicle and its occupants have been taken into custody. This action was taken following directives to prevent traders from bringing cheaper grain from other states to claim Minimum Support Price during the ongoing Kharif marketing season. The occupants could not produce mandatory transit documents or market fee receipts. Authorities have warned of strict action against anyone involved in unauthorized grain transport.

पंजाब के पटियाला में अधिकारियों ने दुधन साधन अंतरराज्यीय बैरियर पर उत्तर प्रदेश से बिना दस्तावेज़ वाले धान ले जा रहे एक ट्रक को रोका। एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली गई है और वाहन व उसमें सवार लोगों को हिरासत में ले लिया गया है। यह कार्रवाई खरीफ विपणन सत्र के दौरान व्यापारियों को अन्य राज्यों से सस्ता अनाज लाकर न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य का दावा करने से रोकने के निर्देशों के बाद की गई। वाहन में सवार लोग ज़रूरी ट्रांजिट दस्तावेज़ या मंडी शुल्क की रसीदें पेश नहीं कर सके। अधिकारियों ने अनधिकृत अनाज परिवहन में शामिल किसी भी व्यक्ति के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है।
