Govt Eases Export Rules for Small Consignments

The Indian government has introduced a de minimis exemption, removing the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) requirement for export consignments valued up to Rs 3 lakh. This move aims to reduce compliance burdens for new and small exporters, facilitating easier trade through postal and courier channels. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade amended the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, to implement this change.

भारतीय सरकार ने एक बड़ी राहत दी है। अब 3 लाख रुपये तक के एक्सपोर्ट के लिए RCMC सर्टिफिकेट की ज़रूरत नहीं होगी। यह फैसला नए और छोटे एक्सपोर्टर्स के लिए नियमों को आसान बनाने के लिए लिया गया है। इससे पोस्ट और कूरियर से सामान भेजना अब और भी सुगम हो जाएगा। Directorate General of Foreign Trade ने Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 में यह बदलाव किया है।
