Amit Mishra Claims Virat Kohli Ignored Calls After Promising India Comeback

Times of India · sports

Former India spinner Amit Mishra has alleged that Virat Kohli stopped responding to his calls and messages after promising him a comeback to the national team. Mishra claimed that then-coach Anil Kumble and captain Kohli assured him of a return once he recovered from a leg injury sustained in 2017. However, after his recovery, Mishra stated that Kohli failed to provide an update as promised and ignored subsequent attempts to contact him. He felt overlooked compared to other players who returned from more severe injuries.
