Sporadic protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and a rollback of the special intensive revision of electoral rolls continued in Delhi for a second day. Hundreds of protesters, including student activists and MP John Brittas, were detained by police amid heavy security deployment in Connaught Place. While normalcy returned to markets and metro services in the morning, demonstrations disrupted the relative calm as groups attempted marches. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) called for the protests, with demonstrators raising slogans against the CEC.
