Telangana CM Orders Kaleshwaram Barrage Repairs By Year-End

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to complete all approvals for the restoration of three damaged Kaleshwaram barrages by the end of this month, with repair works to commence by December-end. The rehabilitation will strictly adhere to National Dam Safety Authority guidelines, ensuring no compromise on dam safety standards. The estimated cost for restoring the Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram barrages is ₹4,193 crore, with contractors covering defect rectification and the state funding additional safety measures.

तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री ए रेवंत रेड्डी ने अधिकारियों को इस महीने के अंत तक तीन क्षतिग्रस्त कालेश्वरम बैराजों की बहाली के लिए सभी मंजूरी पूरी करने का निर्देश दिया है, और मरम्मत का काम दिसंबर के अंत तक शुरू हो जाएगा। पुनर्वास राष्ट्रीय बांध सुरक्षा प्राधिकरण के दिशानिर्देशों का सख्ती से पालन करेगा, जिससे बांध सुरक्षा मानकों से कोई समझौता नहीं होगा। मेदिगड्डा, सुंडिला और अन्नाराम बैराजों को बहाल करने की अनुमानित लागत ₹4,193 करोड़ है, जिसमें ठेकेदार दोष सुधार को कवर करेंगे और राज्य अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा उपायों को वित्त पोषित करेगा।
