Ex-Home Secretary Accuses CEC Of Illegalities

Former Union Home Secretary R.K. Singh has accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of violating electoral laws during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Singh alleged that Kumar illegally conducted an intensive revision for the entire country and removed voters without proper inquiry or notice. He also claimed Kumar added an appendix to Form 6 against the views of other Commissioners. Singh urged opposition parties to boycott elections until the CEC and Commissioners resign.

पूर्व केंद्रीय गृह सचिव आर.के. सिंह ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान प्रकाश कुमार पर चुनावी कानूनों के उल्लंघन का आरोप लगाया है। सिंह ने दावा किया कि कुमार ने पूरे देश के लिए अवैध रूप से एक गहन संशोधन किया और बिना उचित जांच या नोटिस के मतदाताओं को हटा दिया। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि कुमार ने अन्य आयुक्तों के विचारों के विपरीत फॉर्म 6 में एक परिशिष्ट जोड़ा। सिंह ने विपक्षी दलों से चुनाव आयुक्तों के इस्तीफे तक चुनाव का बहिष्कार करने का आग्रह किया।
