Students Attack Bus Conductor For Footboard Travel Warning

A group of government school students in Chennai assaulted an MTC bus conductor near Porur on Thursday morning. The conductor had reprimanded the students for travelling on the footboard of a moving bus. The students then attacked him, causing bleeding injuries, despite passengers attempting to intervene. A video of the incident went viral. Porur police have registered a case and are questioning students, while the school education department has launched an inquiry into the matter.
