इसरो ने गगनयान मिशन और दूसरे अहम प्रोजेक्ट्स में लगे वैज्ञानिकों और तकनीकी कर्मचारियों के लिए स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति या इस्तीफे पर रोक लगा दी है। इसका मकसद अनुभवी लोगों को जाने से रोकना है, ताकि भारत के बड़े अंतरिक्ष मिशन सफलतापूर्वक पूरे हो सकें। यह पाबंदी तब तक रहेगी जब तक ये ज़रूरी मिशन पूरे नहीं हो जाते, ताकि ज़रूरी जानकारी संस्था के पास बनी रहे।
