कोलकाता के नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के अंदर स्थित 136 साल पुरानी गौरिपुर जामा मस्जिद, जिसे बैंकरा मस्जिद भी कहते हैं, में अब एंट्री बंद कर दी गई है। पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने सुरक्षा कारणों का हवाला देते हुए इस फैसले का समर्थन किया है। यह मस्जिद हवाई अड्डे के परिसर में ही है और कई लोगों के लिए एक अहम धार्मिक स्थल है।
