Defending champions India will face a stern challenge from former champions Uzbekistan in the upcoming Chess Olympiad. Uzbekistan, hosting the event in Samarkand, will be under pressure from home expectations and the formidable Indian team. India had previously drawn with Uzbekistan in the 2022 and 2024 editions.
