Putin Says Ukraine Peace Proposals On Table

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that all proposals for a settlement in Ukraine remain on the table. He warned that Moscow would carefully consider its next steps based on Russia's best interests. Putin accused Ukraine of initiating attacks and vowed a sustained Russian response. He suggested that Ukraine's calls for a ceasefire stem from difficulties countering advanced Russian drones and from its own attacks on Russian polling stations.
