A multi-storey building collapsed in Nairobi, Kenya, on Friday afternoon, with seven people feared trapped under the rubble. Dramatic footage shows the 16 or 18-storey structure crumbling, sending a plume of dust into the streets. While dozens of construction workers on upper floors escaped, those missing were believed to be in shops on the ground floor. The incident has reignited concerns about construction standards and regulations in Kenya, as officials noted the building lacked required paperwork for occupation.
