An Indian man working in the US shared his experience of receiving a $23,000 (approximately ₹20 lakh) hospital bill for a mini heart attack, despite having insurance. He contrasted this with a previous health scare in India, where his hospital stay and extensive tests cost only around $500. The significant cost difference in US healthcare, including a $7,000 out-of-pocket expense after insurance, has led him to reconsider his future in America.

अमेरिका में काम करने वाले एक भारतीय ने बताया कि मिनी हार्ट अटैक के लिए उन्हें ₹20 लाख का बिल मिला, जबकि उनके पास इंश्योरेंस भी था। उन्होंने भारत में हुए पिछले एक हेल्थ इशू से इसकी तुलना की, जहाँ ₹40,000 में ही उनका पूरा इलाज और टेस्ट हो गए थे। इंश्योरेंस के बाद भी ₹5.8 लाख का खर्च देखकर वे अमेरिका में रहने के बारे में फिर से सोच रहे हैं।
